Scannell Properties has hired Sophie von der Wiede, an experienced architect and project manager, as Development Manager for Germany to support its ambitious growth plans in the country.

 

Scannell Properties has hired Sophie von der Wiede, an experienced architect and project manager, as Development Manager for Germany to support its ambitious growth plans in the country.

Sophie will join the company on 1 December 2020 from Segro Germany GmbH, where she worked as a Project Manager in Düsseldorf for three-and-a-half years.  Sophie will have responsibility to manage both BTS (‘built-to-suit’) and speculative logistics projects across Germany and will be based in the company’s Düsseldorf office.

With a first degree in architecture and a master’s in real estate and construction project management, she will bring twenty years of experience in project development, design, planning, and architecture in the commercial property industry.

As Development Manager, she will coordinate projects from tender to implementation. She will also set up teams for the project site, select and negotiate with construction contractors and other providers, and manage information flow.
